Just buy it already!
Had been researching the ever growing cruiser E bike category and ended up going with Vonax. It was between their cafe bike and a very similar competitor. I sent both companies a Q&A email and Vonax responded within 40 minutes, I still don’t think I heard from the other guys but who cares now. Alex (co owner) called me himself and gave me all the details on their bike I needed and more. Their bike was perfectly priced and where I see others increasing prices out of greed I see Vonax dropped their price on the cafe slightly.
I purchased the bike right after the great customer service I received and literally had the bike delivered to my door in 4 days from Cali to Fl.
Bike was fairly easy to assemble if you have put a bike together before. I ran into an issue with the battery lock and texted Alex. Again, within minutes he responded and talked me through the setup which ended up being user error.
The bike was ready to ride and had a charge already. Since then, I have been riding it everyday and even took it on a beach vacation. It’s a two seater so was really nice to cruise around the beach town with my lady. Added a basket to the rack for my dog. I rode it on the beach a bit but didn’t want the fine south Fl sand to get caught up in the motor and the gears so kept to a minimum.
Since I use the bike to commute, the only thing I really needed to add was two mirrors which were cheap off Amazon.
The performance is great, has enough pep to cruise around and get up to 25 if pedaling hard. The bike feels really stable since it’s low to the ground and equipped with the 4 in tires. I have not yet pushed the limit on the mileage as my commutes are typically 10 miles round-trip. Have had no issues with the battery life.
Again this is a super cool looking cruiser bike and most likely more than you need for 99% of your applications. Bike can make you look chill just riding to work.
Really excited to see what Vonax does next.

Great looking Bike, different than others on the road today, rides nicely on smooth surfaces, not for rough terrain (battery comes loose if you hit a bump to hard), headlight is delicate so need to be careful when adjusting it and be careful not to drop the bike as it will come off, great for teens or mid-smaller people, foot pegs are a nice added touch for passengers, back rack good for carrying things, slow to start but picks up speed nicely, solid 3 stars so hopefully it will last long enough and not need any serious maintainence for me to give it a 4-5 stars in the future.
